Previous Bands: Mount Charles Beginner Band; Mount Charles Youth Band

Profile:
     Jo started playing brass with Mount Charles Beginners Band in 2005 when she first learnt to play the tenor horn.  Shortly afterwards, she moved onto Baritone which she has played ever since.
Jo played with the Mount Charles Youth band up until the beginning of 2009, taking part in many different competitions, and meeting many lovely people.  She has now joined Bugle Silver Band which she is enjoying very much and has met some great new people.
Jo is also a member of the Cornwall Youth Brass Band.

Memorable Banding Moment:
Winning many competitions with Mount Charles Youth Band, including her first contest away (which was Pontins). 
Coming second on her first ever contest with Bugle
 
Why Jo likes playing in Bugle Silver Band.
Jo says:
"I've really enjoyed my first few months with Bugle and I've had a lovely, friendly welcome from everyone in the band.  Everyone has a great time ... especially away on contests"
