Profile:
Morley started to learn at Bugle, aged 13 years on Euphonium with Peter Trevenna.  During his time with the band, he has played Euphonium, Baritone and Tenor Horn, and has been playing for 55 years!

Morley has played at Bristol, the London Finals, Pontins Finals and all local contests.  He has also played at plenty of carnivals, fetes and concerts and enjoyed most of them.  

Morley loves marching to and from the Bugle Band Contest held every Summer in the village.

At Bugle Band Contest a couple of years ago, Morley was awarded his 50 year service medal by the Cornwall Brass Band Association which he wears with pride.

Memorable banding moment:
Playing in Bugle Band at the Bugle Band Contest at Peniel in 1964 - The first time the band was allowed to take part.

Why Morley likes playing in Bugle Silver Band:
Morley says:
"I have played with Bugle Band for 55 years.  I get a lot of enjoyment out of playing, and I love the music.  I enjoy meeting the people, and giving enjoyment to other people at contests and concerts."
